Jill’s knowledge of issues facing this sector is grounded in extensive pro bono work while at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), and more than 20 years of active volunteer work in the arts & cultural, community service, and education sectors. Currently, Jill Black sits on the Board of the Toronto Arts Foundation where she has led development of a new strategy for the Foundation. She previously served on the Board of Canadian Stage, a large regional theatre, and the Alumni Development Board of the Rotman School of Management. Example projects:

  • Assisted several major performing arts organizations in developing and implementing strategies for growing audiences.
  • Helped the management team of a College assess the potential for selling its interactive online courses in international markets.
  • Helped refine the proposed governance structure for an international relief and development organization to better serve the needs of its member countries.
