The idea for J.E. Black & Company grew from experience and insight gained while a partner of the Boston Consulting Group – a global management-consulting firm. Over the course of almost seventeen years with BCG providing strategic advice to major business corporations, I saw a growing need for the application of the same skills to the not-for-profit sector. Since 2002, J.E. Black & Company has been devoting equal time to assisting corporations and not-for-profit organizations in identifying and addressing critical strategic and organizational issues. In addition, I also apply my project leadership skills to help multi-stakeholder groups address complex public policy issues. This website provides insight into my process and sample projects.
